The Blue River Big Band of Fort Wayne and surrounding areas is a thirteen piece band consisting of saxophones, trombones, trumpets and piano, bass and drums (vocalist also available). The Blue River Big Band prides itself in being one of the most versatile big bands in the area, performing both traditional swing music with style and class and also newer music such as rock, funk and Latin with high-energy.
The Blue River Big Band has performed in a variety of venues in the past including several years at the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Columbia City's Old Settler's Festival, dances with the Warsaw Ballroom Dance Band Association and many others.
