Talented, professional, flexibile and original are just some of the words used to describe the Peneplain Jazz Project. We are a group of award-winning jazz musicians that play all styles of Jazz; from Swing to Bop, Latin to Contemporary, Funk and even some Jazzed-up pop tunes.
PJP is built around a dynamic rhythm section of piano, bass and drums to which we add instrumentation as needed. Available instruments include saxophone, trumpet, trombone, vocals(male and female), guitar, flute and vibraphone. The resulting sound ranges from intimate to exciting. For smaller venues and budgets we also offer various duo and drumless trio formats.

Swing Essence has been a favorite of Colorado dance fans since 2004. Based on the idea that people of all ages love to dance to the classics, this group selects material from the 1930's to the 1990's, based on popularity, choosing those that really swing, groove, or rock at the top of their class. Just as important, the music is always arranged specifically for their 7-piece format.
Swing Essence includes guitar, keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, drums, and bass, and features two vocalists. From swing and ballroom dancing, to motown and rock and roll, this group will keep your toes tapping and couples dancing through the evening.

"VISION" Is a power house four piece band that plays a blend of Funk Jazz, Smooth jazz, Fusion Jazz, and Latin Jazz as well as a taste of Mainstream (Straighthead) Jazz. The main genre for the group is playing the best of the nineteen eightys jazz fusion. Capturing such great artist's music such as Dave Grusin, David Sanborn, Yellow Jackets, and Jeff Lorber to name a few. This music is timeless and will always be the best of that era. “VISION” is an outstanding, professional band ready for any occasion, whether in concert, club or private party (i.e., weddings, and corporate dinner dance). Presently performing in and around the Denver area doing clubs, Private Party's,and casual work and concerts. All band members have been in the recording and music industry over 25 years each.
