we are a piece quintet, filled with a few students who have been to the "essentially ellington" music festival in NYC. the others have won numerous awards and have participated in statewide jazz ensembles. we are also all members of the Eastman School of Music junior Jazz ensemble
Frederick Is a nationally recognized vocalist, percussionist, and writer with over 37 years of performance experience. Frederic recorded his first single on an independent record label that reached #48 on the Billboard Top 100 Black Singles. Frederick has played in some of the hottest Jazz clubs and has opened and performed with such world-renown acts as "Sax man Kim Waters, Ashford and Simpson, Gladys Knight, just name a few. Frederick is an all around entertainer for all occasions. His voice drips with soul on both originals and covers. He creates Latin percussions and his connection to the music is deeply expressive,exuberant and rich.
