Live performances by Vintage are captivating, energetic, and interactive. The crowd is invited to participate, sing along, and have a good time. The show is naturally fun and the aptmosphere is similar to hanging out with friends at a house party. A Vintage show may, on occasion, contain multiple cover songs as well as orginals spanning the band members' multiple influences. They span from Eminem & Metallica, to Tom Petty & Drowning Pool. While the covers are well executed the originals are generally the fan favorites.
We are essentially a cover band that plays popular songs, be it from the 's, 's, 's, 's, and even some k's. We have a flexible footprint size and can also adjust from a -man band down to -man, depending on client needs.
Piece band with female keyboard/vocalist, female vocalist, excellent guitar player with lead & backup vocals, and a bass player with years experience that sings lead & backup vocals, the drummer also has over years experience and he sings lead & backup vocals. This is one of the best and most versatile vocal and instrumental bands ever.
For a moment, close your eyes. As you listen to Hypothetical, take in the words, the feeling, and the intention of the song. It's a relevant song and many different people with many different experiences can pull from the lyrics and relate in some way or another. On the same level, it is discriptive enough to paint a visual image in your head and create (or recreate) some experience you have had or currently experiencing. The ending resolves, both musically and lryically to evoke a sense of hope and strength that was absent before. I am unbreakable. That is the power of music.
Music is the Universal Language. It breaks all barriers, unites people, and for those who write, record, and perform it, it is an outlet of creativity and soul. Music takes time, and we take that time so that the final product is something that we are satisfied with and proud of. Room236 is about the music- and we hope that as you listen to what we have recorded, that somehow, on some level, it means something to you. After all, isn't that what its supposed to be about?
The band has several new songs that are scheduled to hit the downloadable market by October of 07. We always want to hear from our friends out there about what you have on your minds. Drop us an email at: inforoom236@aol.com
We also want to give you the best live show we can. We want you to be able to plug in to the experience as a whole and leave feeling that you were able to enjoy not only the music, but the lighting, mood, and flow of the show. Rest assured that no matter what size or type of venue you see us perform in, we always give an audience our best.
We are open for booking and we are interested in any geographical location. At the very least, we always use sound clips to transition from song to song, making for an almost theatrical effect. Also, we always decorate the stage (per approval thru the appropriate channels) with fabrics & candles. We are also able to be a supporting act for another band you have perfoming at your venue. Our show usually runs about 90 minutes but we can expand or contract that as necessary. Please email us at:
