| "Savor" is the HOTTEST Latin Soul band in Southeren California and One of the top Latin Soul bands in the U.S and Mexico. With our first original CD to be released this summer in Mexico, we invite all those interested to book us early. Savor is Not just your average Latin Cover band we play all types of music, Classic Rock, Top , Oldies, R&B, Old School and of course SPECIALIZING in Latin music of all types. The "Savor" band is more then just music, we do a very good job of M.C.ing the event and our stage performance is second to none. We bring all are own stage and dance floor lighting and special effects to provide just the right mood. Please note that even though we are new to gigleader we have been performing for years and have many many happy clients. This group is made up of not only great musicans but also great entertainers. | Limpopo has its origins in Moscow since . This group toured the former Soviet Union performing in some of its more famous theaters. At the peak of Limpopo’s fame there, Yuri & Igor emigrated to the United States with only two of the original cast at his heels. In , Limpopo reformed in the States as a four-member folk and comedy troupe. They were very successful performing for audiences of all ages across Canada and the United States at music and comedy festivals, children’s festivals, clubs, and college campuses. In , they competed on and won the Ed McMahon’s International Star Search band competition. In , they showcased at The National Association for Campus Activities convention in Boston where over colleges signed up to bring the band to their campuses! They were voted by readers of Campus Activities Today magazine as "Best Music Act for ". They were nominated for Group of the Year at the Kerrville Music Awards. They were featured in a long running national TV ad for KIT KAT candy bars which became a tongue-in-cheek anthem for them. L.A.’s number one watched news program, KTLA Morning News, featured a live interview and performance of Limpopo and the Los Angeles Music Center on Tour proudly touts Limpopo as one of their most popular and celebrated artists. |
