We are ruck/funk/jazz/ fusion band. We usually play our originals but we also play a bunch of covers. We have a catchy sound and if I can some it up by the words of our fans it would be "These guys are awesome and they are not going to be playing at local clubs much longer so enjoy thenm while you can before you have to pay $ for a ticket"

Son Quatro, a 7 to 11 piece Latin Band from Richmond, Virginia, has been performing for Corporate Events, Private Parties, and Clubs since 2001 and plays a diverse set of Latin genres including Salsa, Merenge, Bachata, Cumbia, and Boleros.
Son Quatro has the experience necessary to make your event a huge success. Our band members are from Colombia, Puerto Rico, Peru, Mexico, and USA.
Son Quatro plays the classic Salsa sounds from 70s and includes covers from Tito Puente, Ray Barreto, Ruben Blades, Fania, Ismael Rivera, Cheo Feliciano, El Gran Combo, Pete “El Conde” Rodriguez, and also more modern artists like Fruko Y Sus Tesos, Buena Vista Social Club, and Afro Cuban All Stars.

David Monte Cristo is a singer, songwriter, composer, multi-keyboardist, music producer and filmmaker.

David can perform using your in-house piano. He can also perform using a high-quality, digital performance/PA sound system that includes mics, three synthesizers and two Behringer keyboard amps. This system has a wide range of rhythms and sounds including acoustic piano replication.
In addition to original material, David has a vast repertoire of songs in the Pop, Rock, Classical and International genres. He is a natural performer and encourages audience participation (vocal, instrumental, poetry, dance). He has a flexible performance style covering soft, quiet and inspiring background music for dining up through dance party (DJ and techno/dance performer).

This was our first album and this being a learning process, there are some things we may have done differently and some things we are pretty proud of. For a band (in its current formation) that has only been together for a short time, actually putting out an album was a huge step. There is often a misconception on what it takes to be a successful band. Getting together to create and play music is the easiest part. You’re doing what you love. When you have musicians as talented as we do, you often come up with some great stuff. The difficult parts are battling addictions, egos, incarcerations, girl problems, low times, slow times, over looking the general negative bull shit and just trying to stay together.
That being said, after all the struggles, this is our Album Lessons. "If they were easy they'd be forgotten." We were on a limited budget so we couldn't really waste time in the studio recording every song. Instead, we decided to choose songs which would highlight all of our influences. The result was an album with a mixture of styles including Rock, Reggae, Drum & Bass, Funk, Acid Jazz, Ska, Punk, Hip Hop, Go-Go, Jungle, Trip Hop and probably some other stuff. We felt each song gives a glimpse of us as a group. That’s the Big Hurt. 6 different individuals with many different personalities that have remained together long enough to put out an album. Only the future can tell what's next...........
