| Harvey Fuqua of Motown Hitsville, U.S.A owned a record label, Anna Records and Harvey’s label’s artist Johnny Bristol, brought a band to Harvey's attention: “Jr. Walker and The All Stars” with Tony Washington on drums, Autrey DeWalt (aka) Jr. Walker on sax and vocals, Victor Thomas on keyboards and Willie Woods on guitar.
Harvey Fuqua signed the band to his label in ; he closed his label and Harvey Fuqua brought his artists including the band with him to Motown Records. They started recording in . Harvey became a songwriter and executive at Motown.
The 's sadly brought the untimely death of Autrey DeWalt (aka) Jr. Walker and Willie Woods. Since then, Victor Thomas and Tony Washington have united with Kenny Walker on sax and Acklee King on percussion.
Throughout the years of making music this band has worked side by side with Harvey Fuqua and in was inducted into The Grammy Hall of Fame.

| JoyRide is a nine-piece Michigan band from the mid-west that really appeals to a broad age range. Their ability to please even the most discriminating audience, regardless of age, has made JoyRide one of the most requested bands around. Their talent and versatility puts this band in a class of all their own. Complete with high-energy dance steps and a fantastic light show, the band performs powerful renditions of the Classics, Motown hits, many 's & 's favorites, as well as Disco, Top-Forty and all the current Hip-Hop Hits.
The one thing that really stands out about the band is their showmanship and fantastic interaction with the audience. Harold Thomas, Darian Taschner, 'Key' Bullard, and Corrin Barnett are all the front vocalists in the group and are no strangers to the stage. They have appeared in and around the Detroit area in many shows and orchestras romancing audiences and pushing out standards and current hits with their silky smooth styling and focus on interacting with the audience. Every singer and musician is wireless, allowing them complete freedom to stroll and interact with your guests, whether it be during dinner or for dancing.
The rhythm section of JoyRide is Gary Husted on Keyboards, Ray Burton on Bass, Winston "Foot" Britton on drums, David Reinstein on Tenor and Alto Saxophone, Mike Fowler on Guitar, and Kyle Husted on keyboards, drums, as well as the bands lighting & sound engineer.
Combined with the bands high level of musicianship, the front line of bands vocalist entertain audiences with their snappy choreography and unique vocal styles. Whatever the function, JoyRide will provide an entertaining and unique experience for all!

GOS started as a concept to bring the idea of passion back into music without compromising the musical vision of the band. The vision was simple . . . to write good songs. Deep, meaningful, thoughtful lyrics and melodies over lush musical landscapes. The members of Garden of Souls have diverse musical backgrounds and tastes and they all find their way into the music, which is the main reason why every GOS song is unique in it's own right. The idea of having 'hooks' within the songs while still maintaining an artrock mentality on a musical level has been done before . . . and when it has been done the right way, it provides an overwhelming sense of timelessness. | The Tenacious Red band was
formed in and includes a
lineup of Patti Christensen handling
vocals and percussion, Dave
Christensen doubling between
vocals and guitar, Richie
Maciejewski playing lead
guitar, Barry Schigelone on
the bass and vocals, Bill
Gravlin on the drums and Joe
Lipare on the keyboards.
The band members all
possess a passion for music
and have long been involved
in various projects. The
musical beginnings for each
can be traced back to an early
age. Inspiration comes from a
wide variety of influences
including such artists as The
Cream, Santana, Pat Benatar,
and Stevie Ray Vaughan just
to name a few. Of course, if
all the influential artists were
listed here, many pages would
be needed.
The band plays an eclectic
blend of music. Most songs
covered will be recognized;
however, there may be a few
tunes new to the crowd. Start
with a base of classic rock,
add in some modern rock,
include a hint of country, toss
in a little southern rock and
top it all off with a taste of the
blues. Mix it all together and
what you have is a musical
group playing a wide variety of
music that is sure to get feet
tapping, heads nodding,
people singing along and
bodies dancing on the floor.
Whether playing in basement
bands, singing karaoke,
working at the college radio
station, or as a wedding DJ,
music seems to have always
been a central theme in the
lives of the band
