| For a moment, close your eyes. As you listen to Hypothetical, take in the words, the feeling, and the intention of the song. It's a relevant song and many different people with many different experiences can pull from the lyrics and relate in some way or another. On the same level, it is discriptive enough to paint a visual image in your head and create (or recreate) some experience you have had or currently experiencing. The ending resolves, both musically and lryically to evoke a sense of hope and strength that was absent before. I am unbreakable. That is the power of music.
Music is the Universal Language. It breaks all barriers, unites people, and for those who write, record, and perform it, it is an outlet of creativity and soul. Music takes time, and we take that time so that the final product is something that we are satisfied with and proud of. Room is about the music- and we hope that as you listen to what we have recorded, that somehow, on some level, it means something to you. After all, isn't that what its supposed to be about?

We also want to give you the best live show we can. We want you to be able to plug in to the experience as a whole and leave feeling that you were able to enjoy not only the music, but the lighting, mood, and flow of the show. Rest assured that no matter what size or type of venue you see us perform in, we always give an audience our best.
We are open for booking and we are interested in any geographical location. At the very least, we always use sound clips to transition from song to song, making for an almost theatrical effect. Also, we always decorate the stage (per approval thru the appropriate channels) with fabrics & candles. We are also able to be a supporting act for another band you have perfoming at your venue. After beating out , hopefuls to become a semi-finalist on FOX's Hit show AMERICAN IDOL, year old singer/songwriter/dancer/actor Jared Michael Yates is well on his way.
During season of the world's most popular televised talent competition, Jared wowed the crowd with his charm and incredible natural talent.
"I auditioned for American Idol as a spur of the moment thing" recalled the Illinois native, who soon found himself performing live in front of over million television viewers. As the youngest male performer of the season, Jared was interviewed and featured on MTV News, ACCESS HOLLYWOOD, E Tonight, and numerous other media outlets. Statistics on Google in late showed Jared Yates, along with grammy winner Carrie Underwood, as among the most 'searched' Idol contestants on the net.
In addition to performing at numerous shows, fairs, festivals, and concerts, Jared found that he has an inherent ability to write songs as well. Jared's new CD "ALL THAT I AM", is currently being shopped to major labels. "A lot of people, especially teenagers, will be able to relate to the message of my music since I am in their age range.
Jared now travels and performs for many gigs and bookings with his new band of very talented musicians.
"One thing people should know about me is that I am willing to take chances with my music and I will do anything to let it be heard", Jared concluded. |

Boomslang is comprised of Vocalist Rich Treadway, Guitarist Dave Nelson, Bassist Mark Price and Drummer Doug Howell and hail from Danville, IL. The band recently released its debut CD entitled INSANITY which they recorded at Sleepless Nights Studio in Madison, WI with Paul Schluter (Cold, Last Crack) as engineer and co-producer and was mastered by Greg Reely (Fear Factory) in Vancouver.
